November 4, 2012 - (ISSE Midwest | Rosemont, IL)  Minerva Beauty's first annual scholarship wrapped up during a presentation on the main stage of ISSE Midwest on Sunday, November 4th. On-stage representatives included Graciela Santiler-Nowik, President of the PBA|NCA Leadership Council, Jay Rawl, CEO of Minerva Beauty, and Sasha Hack, one of five winning scholarship applicants.

"We're very pleased our first annual Minerva Beauty Scholarship has been successfully awarded to five deserving cosmetology students. While we work every day to supply the salon industry with quality furniture and equipment, we also recognize proper training and education of America's next generation of cosmetology professionals is of the utmost importance," said Jay Rawl, CEO of Minerva Beauty, Inc. "The PBA has been a wonderful partner in helping us get this scholarship started, and we're pleased to announce we'll be continuing the scholarship in 2013."

Students interested in applying for the 2013 Minerva Beauty Scholarship can go to www.minervabeauty.com or www.probeauty.org. Five winning applicants will receive a $1,000 scholarship to apply towards cosmetology school. The deadline is May 31, 2013 and winning applicants will be notified by July 15, 2013.
