Grand Prize Recipient

The 2020 grand prize recipient of the Minerva Scholarship worth $5,000 is Brianne Doyle. Brianne is a wife, mom, and pastry chef turned hair stylist. Growing up with a mom who was also a stylist, Brianne always felt inspired by the salon atmosphere and the connection between stylists and their clients. Brianne is a recent graduate of The Aveda Institute of Maine and continues her education at the Capilo School of Hair Design in Augusta, ME. Her mission as a stylist is to connect with, encourage and inspire others while creating incredible, attainable, every day looks for her clients.

“It has been a dream in itself being able to return to school later in life as a mom and follow a passion I have always dreamed of chasing,” expresses Brianne. “I have loved every step of my cosmetology journey so far and cannot thank you enough for the generosity and support toward my education and career as a hair stylist.”
