We’ve created a collection of our most frequently asked questions so you can have the answers you’re looking for right at your fingertips! 

 

Does your sales team work off commission?

No, our sales team does not work off commission. Whether you’re buying a simple blow dryer or outfitting an entire salon, you’ll receive the same level of service. During our business hours, all members of our 8-person Sales Team are ready to assist you over-the-phone or in-person at our distribution headquarters and showroom in Monroe, GA. 

 

What payment options are available?

Orders placed through our website can be purchased using Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, or Klarna online financing. Orders placed by phone or in-person can be purchased using Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Cash, Cashier’s Checks, Money Wires, or financing by Amerifund Inc Financing Resources.

 

Are there any options for leasing or financing a purchase?

Yes, we have two financing options for our customers. Klarna online financing can be used at check out for orders $10,000 or less. Amerifund Inc. Financing Resources is prefect for equipment orders of $7,500 or more. Please see our Financing page for more information. 

 

Does Minerva offer free shipping?

No, and here’s why. Companies that offer ‘free shipping’ often incorporate shipping costs by raising the prices of the products they sell, resulting in the customer spending more money in the long run. At Minerva, we want to be upfront and honest with our customers by not hiding shipping costs into the price of our products. We offer the lowest prices possible for our products, so that you can buy more for less. Before placing an order, we recommend using the estimate feature in the online shopping cart to check the shipping costs to your zip code. If you have a special shipping requirement, please give our Sales Team a call prior to purchase.

 

Do you have any showrooms other than the one in Georgia?

Our only showroom is in Monroe, Georgia – less than an hour from Atlanta. If you’re from out of state and would like to plan a trip to the Minerva Beauty showroom, please read about our Fly-In Program on our Visit Us page.

 

Can I pick up my order instead of having it shipped?

Yes! If you are a local buyer, we encourage you to visit our showroom in Monroe, GA to pick up your order. Depending on the size of the order, customers often use a pickup truck or rent a U-Haul style vehicle with a covered area in case of inclement weather. If you would like to schedule a pickup, please contact one of our Sales Representatives. 

 

Are upholstery color swatches available?

Yes, we can provide upholstery swatch samples for most of the vinyl color options we have available. We highly encourage you to request swatch samples if you’re looking for a very specific color for your salon, spa, or barbershop seating. The colors viewed on our website are meant to be a representation of the actual product color. However, due to differences in device screen quality and color, the colors may not be exact to how the color will appear in person.

 

Do your salon chairs (or any other vinyl covered products such as barber chairs, shampoo systems, stools, etc.) stain?

Ultimately, hair color will stain just about ANYTHING – including vinyl. Stains are much more noticeable on lighter colors than they are on darker colors. We highly suggest using salon chair covers, especially for lighter colored chairs. If you do get color on any Minerva Beauty products, we suggest wiping the color off immediately then using a 2 parts vinegar to 1 part water solution. You can also try using Ship-Shape Cleaner. Note: Ship-Shape is safe to use on vinyl, but it will not condition the vinyl.  

 

Are custom colors available?

Typically, we are able to provide custom color combinations using options from our Color Chart. Additional fees may apply.

 

Can hydraulic bases and/or footrests be swapped?

Yes, hydraulic bases and footrests on styling chairs can be swapped. Additional charges may apply. For more information, please call our Sales Team at 1-888-332-0123.

 

Do you sell used or refurbished products?

No, we only sell new salon equipment and furniture. To search for additionally discounted items, we recommend reviewing our Sales & Clearance section.

 

Are the pictures on your website of actual products in your showroom?

Yes. Minerva has an in-house photographer who takes professional pictures of actual products in our showroom. We never place computer drawings of a product on our website. If you have any questions about our products, please don’t hesitate to call our sales team! All products on our website are on display in our showroom, so we are able to take additional measurements and can answer any other questions you might have. 

 

Are there discounts for ordering multiple items?

No, we do not provide additional discounts for ordering multiple items. However, Minerva does offer a wide selection of customizable packages to give our customers flexibility when ordering. Also, if you join our mailing list, you’ll be the first to receive information on upcoming sales, new product alerts, and more!

 

What do I need to know prior to purchasing a backwash or pedicure chair?
